Light University Online Launches its Student Referral Program – Shine the Light

Light University Online of Virginia (www.lightuonline.com), a recognized leader in Christian online education for biblical counseling, life coaching, and crisis response training, today announced a new student referral program that offers significantly discounted tuition to the referrer (student) and those he or she refers.

With Shine the Light,Light University Online students have an added incentive to refer their friends, family and colleagues. “Since our inception, students have been our best recruiters. Because of our fantastic programs, services and support, students are naturally invaluable assets who share positive experiences through simple word of mouth to their circles of influence. The Light University Online Web site now features a Shine the Light icon (www.lightuonline.com/shinethelight) that, when clicked, will allow students to submit up to three (3) referrals per visit. There is no limit to the number of people someone can refer. Light University Online Launches its New Advanced Certificate in Women’s Leadership

Light University Online of Virginia (www.lightuonline.com) has successfully launched its new Advanced Certificate in Women’s Leadership. Endorsed by the American Association of Christian Counselors and Extraordinary Women Ministries, the new Advanced Certificate in Women’s Leadership is centered on helping women learn what it means to lead within their context and then take what they have learned to lead other women. This certificate empowers women with the theory and skills to support and guide them within the Church, home and workplace.

Light University Online Launches its New School of Crisis Response and Trauma Care

Light University Online of Virginia (www.lightuonline.com) has successfully launched its new School of Crisis Response and Trauma Care. Endorsed by the American Association of Christian Counselors and the International Board of Christian Care, the School of Crisis Response & Trauma Care (SCR) through Light University Online integrates current crisis response and trauma care theory with requisite skill development, nationally recognized standards of practice, and faith values that promote compassionate and professional caregiving. Graduates of these programs are also eligible to qualify to become credentialed Crisis Responders through the International Board of Christian Care.

Light University Online Announces First Graduates

Light University Online of Virginia (www.lightuonline.com)   successfully launched its new, state-of-the-art online learning programs for those interested in biblical counseling, life coaching, and crisis and trauma care in February 2011. With its relevant curriculum, world-renowned faculty, and the convenience and flexibility of online studies, LUO has experienced solid enrollment and retention. As a result, LUO is proud to announce that at the conclusion of its June term, 32 students have successfully completed their programs and graduated. Twenty-six students earned their Advance Certificates and six students completed their Diploma programs.
